Sino Mack — This’n That

DigiCover0031_230

The latest dispatch of otherworldly brilliance from esteemed electronic label Moonbootique offers four radically different interpretations of Sino Mack’s crazed computer funk. The original of ‘This ‘n’ That’ bumps along like a heavier Daft Punk, house with a heavy dose of boogie in its blood, as Mr. Mack sings the strange, addictive vocal: “A Little Bit of this / A Little Bit of That / a Little Bit of Dog / a Little Bit of Cat”.

The Decalicious Zick Zack Mix, transports the mood of the original into a wild acid techno rhythm. A slice of pure overdriven 303 electro, with a thundering, punky, buzzsaw bassline for those tougher floors.

koweSix – one half of Moonbootica — offers chopped up, sparkling keys in his version, before building to a massive club-erupting electro crescendo that’ll enliven any set and work the crowd into a sweat. Lastly, Amir’s mix relocates the cut into minimal mode, the mood strictly nocturnal, an intoxicatingly subtle house bump.

Each track is tailor-made to detonate dancefloors across the genre divides: another typically astute, killer 12” from the excellent Moonbootique stable.
